Dblas implements the Wi-Fi service in another line of CRTM

The operator of the Arriva group (Arriva) in the southwest of the Community of Madrid,  Dblas, , has incorporated the free Wi-Fi Internet connection service in the 12 buses that provide the line of the Regional Transport Consortium of Madrid, CRTM, which connects Móstoles with Madrid passing through the exam center of the DGT and the Rey Juan Carlos University. The service can benefit some 2.5 million users.

It is the second line of the company that offers the service, "demonstrating the company's commitment to improving the competitiveness of public passenger transport in our country," they point out from the operator. During his speech at the presentation ceremony, the general director of Dblas, José María Sabín, underlined that thanks to this launch, the intercity buses that connect the capital with two of the main population centers in the south of Madrid (Alcorcón and Móstoles) incorporate the Internet connection via Wi-Fi.

The opening ceremony took place at the Rey Juan Carlos de Móstoles University. In addition to José María Sabín and Rosa Cárdenas, Director of Communication of Dblas, the presence of the Deputy Minister of Transport, Borja Carabante; the mayor of Móstoles, Daniel Ortiz; the managing director of the CRTM, José Manuel Pradillo; and the technical director of the CRTM, Dionisio González.

Also, were present the deputy councilor of Transport of Móstoles, Paloma Tejero; the councilor of District 2 Móstoles; Juan Manuel Manjavacas; the Councilor for Safety and Mobility of Alcorcón, Laura Pontes; the head of the Interurban Transport Area, Ricardo Pérez Cobo; the main technique of the Interurban Transport Area of ​​the CRTM, Elena Tarruella and the Vice-Rector for Information and Communication of the Rey Juan Carlos University; Francisco Blanco Attendees were able to test the free Wi-Fi network during a demonstration on one of the buses on the line.

The Internet connection has been available for a year on the route that connects Alcorcón with Madrid, also passing through the Rey Juan Carlos University. During this time more than a thousand users registered for the use of the Wi-Fi service.
